Top performers in Livingston County track and field through April
Between sprints, distance and hurdles, four boys have it all covered at the top of the Livingston County track and field honor roll.
Hartland senior Cameron Cheetam leads the way in the 100-meter dash, 200 and 400; Pinckney senior Paul Moore tops the list in the 800, 1,600 and 3,200; and Pinckney sophomore Sam Burtts and Hartland senior Christian Fedewa lead the hurdles.
By contrast, seven different girls have the fastest times in the eight open track events. Pinckney freshman Davea Crowe, a name you’ll be hearing a lot about in the coming years, is the only runner leading more than one event with the fastest times in the 200 and 300 hurdles. Crowe is also on two county-best relay teams.
