Rapids Waterpark hires marketing, sales director

Rapids Waterpark, South Florida's largest water park, has hired Audrey Padgett as director of marketing and sales. She will be responsible for leading all marketing initiatives, communications, events, public relations, and brand partnerships for the park. Padgett brings more than 17 years of experience in the entertainment industry to her new post.

Flagler Technologies adds client executive

Flagler Technologies is proud to welcome Brandi Deignan to its team. Deignan will serve as a client executive, working to continue the forward growth the company has experienced over the last few years. Cameron Foundation adds committee member

Stephanie Slater Goldfuss has joined the Education Taskforce Committee for the Andrea C. Cameron Foundation. The committee will oversee the foundation’s college and trade school scholarship program. Slater Goldfuss is the director of communications for Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, a third-generation personal injury law firm headquartered in West Palm Beach.

Boca Helping Hands adds board member

Boca Helping Hands (BHH) has named Dr. Sarah Lochner to its board of directors to support the nonprofit’s work. Lochner completed medical school and her internal medical residency in Texas and practiced at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation. After relocating to Florida in 2014, Lochner learned of Boca Helping Hands (BHH) and has volunteered in a variety of capacities at the nonprofit . Now in its 25th year of operation, Boca Helping Hands is a community-based nonprofit that provides food, medical and financial assistance to meet basic human needs as well as education, job training and guidance to create self-sufficiency.

Business Development Board chooses chair, directors

The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB), the county's officially designated entity for economic development, has introduced its 2023-24 board of directors. This board consists of a prominent group of leaders with a collective dedication to promoting Palm Beach County as the primary choice for businesses. Brian Seymour, a shareholder at Gunster, has been selected for the role of BDB chair for the term spanning from 2023 to 2025. Also joining the BDB board will be Pam Tahan, CEO of Wellington Regional Medical Center.

Florida Bar re-certifies attorney Landy

Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith is pleased to announce that shareholder Joseph B. Landy has successfully achieved recertification as a board-certified civil trial lawyer by The Florida Bar. Landy has been recognized as a board-certified lawyer by the Supreme Court of Florida for 30 years, a testament to his special knowledge, skills and proficiency in civil trial law, as well as his character, ethics and reputation for professionalism.
