YMCA of the Palm Beaches bolsters staff

The YMCA of the Palm Beaches recently named Joely Pique as associate director of philanthropy and Cynthia Annylus as membership and marketing coordinator. With BA in journalism from the University of Mississippi, Pique began her career in communications and has held leadership positions at LPGA in Daytona Beach; BurgerFi; and, PGA TOUR Superstore. Annylus holds a BS from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and a masters from Louisiana State University. She has held positions with Automated Health Systems and Worldwide Nutrition, and, most recently, with A Creative Station. The YMCA of the Palm Beaches has served Palm Beach County for more than 100 years, providing essential programs, activities, and services for thousands of children, seniors, and families annually.

Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island hires spa director

Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa recently announced Michelle Lee Marr, as the new spa director at SiSpa. Marr will be responsible for managing SiSpa’s day-to-day operations. SiSpa provides a range of high-end services such as massages, facials, and nail and hair treatments. Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa is the only all-suite beachfront property in Palm Beach County.

Nason Yeager appoints chair of commercial litigation

Nason Yeager Gerson Harris & Fumero, P.A., a full-service law firm, recently announced that shareholder Michael Nullman has been appointed as Chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Nullman represents individuals and businesses in a wide array of litigation in state and federal courts, and in arbitrations. Nason Yeager Gerson Harris & Fumero, P.A. is one of the oldest Florida-based law firms in the state.

Local attorney takes leadership positions at two non-profits

Ward Damon business and commercial litigation attorney Phil Werner has been appointed to prominent leadership positions with two of Palm Beach County’s most community-driven non-profit organizations: he has been named president of the Kiwanis Club of West Palm Beach, and secretary of Friends of Jupiter Beach. Ward Damon is an AV-rated, multidiscipline law firm serving the legal needs of its clients and community since 1987. The firm has offices in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton and Jupiter.

Senior living facility adds senior sales counselor

Keith Squires has joined Toby & Leon Cooperman Sinai Residences Boca Raton as senior sales counselor of independent living. Squires has 22 years of senior living experience starting in culinary and spending the past 10 years in sales and marketing. Sinai Residences is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community developed by Federation CCRC Development, a subsidiary of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.

Serving Palm Beach, Martin counties, local firm adds partner

Comiter Singer is thrilled to announce that Christopher C. Weeg has become a partner in the firm.
