Top Memphis high school boys soccer players entering the 2024 playoffs

The Tennessee high school spring sports calendar is closing in on the TSSAA playoffs, with many Memphis area high school boys soccer teams wrapping up regular season play this week.

Here's a look at the top players going into the postseason.

Andres Bavaresco, Arlington: Bavaresco has eight goals and four assists for the 10-win Tigers.

Rowan Craven, Arlington: Craven, a sophomore striker, has 13 goals and five assists.

Brayden Lemonds, Bartlett: Lemonds, a junior striker, has six goals and two assists for the 11-win Panthers.

Arturo Ramirez, Bartlett: Ramirez, a sophomore center midfielder, has six goals and four assists.

Rodrigo Delarosa, Bolton: Delarosa, a junior, has scored four goals.

George Lundy, Briarcrest: Lundy leads the 12-win Saints with 11 goals.

Jamar Willis, Briarcrest: Willis has 10 goals and a team-leading 10 assists.

Cullen Brummer, Christian Brothers: Brummer, a senior midfielder, has six goals and five assists.

Grant Clothier, CBHS: Clothier, a senior goalkeeper, has helped the 10-win Purple Wave register six shutouts.

James Rump, CBHS: Rump, a sophomore forward, paces the team with eight goals and has three assists.

Cooper Nelson, Collierville: Nelson, a senior forward, has nine goals and four assists.

Mateo Treadwell, Collierville: Treadwell, a senior midfielder, has three goals and two assists.

Eric Martinez, Craigmont: Martinez has scored 12 goals.

Diego Lainez, ECS: Lainez, a junior goalkeeper, has helped the Eagles post seven shutouts.

Field Richardson, ECS: Richardson, a freshman center back, has guided the Eagles to 11 wins.

Dalton Green, Fayette Academy: Green, a freshman, has scored nine goals.

Heath Miller, Harding Academy: Miller, a senior, has four goals and three assists.

Hays Adams, Houston: Adams, a senior midfielder and team captain, propelled the Mustangs to a 15-0-1 regular-season record.

Jack Boccher, Houston: Boccher, a junior goalkeeper, has anchored a defensive unit that’s allowed only six goals.

Jack Langford, Houston: Langford, a senior midfielder and Memphis signee, had a three-match scoring streak against USJ, White Station and Lausanne.

Clayton Somogyi, Houston: Somogyi, a senior forward, scored clutch goals in District 15-AAA victories over Bartlett and Arlington.

Lefranc Piacentini, Kirby: Piacentini has 14 goals and five assists.

Eli Coleman, Lakeland Prep: Coleman, a freshman, leads the Lions with 10 goals and seven assists.

Naji Ghandour, Lausanne: Ghandour, a junior forward, has 14 goals and six assists for the 11-win Lynx.

Josh Nwokeji, Lausanne: Nwokeji, a senior forward, has seven goals and 12 assists.

Ryan Ruguaru, Lausanne: Ruguaru, a Memphis signee, has six goals and three assists for the defending Division II-A state champs.

Jacob Pyndell, MUS: Pyndell, a junior goalkeeper, has contributed to five shutouts.

Kyle Sneed, MUS: Sneed, a junior forward, has 15 goals and five assists.

Eli Bailey, Northpoint: Bailey has 11 goals and 21 assists for the 15-win Trojans.

Miller Lashlee, Northpoint: Lashlee, a junior, has 49 goals plus 14 assists.

Quin Beal, St. George’s: Beal, a senior center defender, is a captain for the perennially strong Gryphons.

Nathan Washington, Tipton-Rosemark Academy: Washington, a senior center defender, has helped the Rebels post four shutouts.
