As several documentaries have shown, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen weren’t big fans of Toni Kukoc during the 1992 Olympics.

In reality, Jordan and Pippen weren’t big fans of Chicago Bulls GM Jerry Krause, who was bringing Kukoc over from Croatia.

So, Jordan and Pippen decided to take it out on Kukoc. They absolutely swarmed the international basketball star during their first meeting at the Summer Olympics in 1992.

Kukoc went on to have a good career for the Bulls. He helped Jordan, Pippen and Co. win three NBA championships.

Saturday night, Kukoc is getting inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. During his speech, he had a brutally honest message for Jordan and Pippen.

“I would like to thank Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen for kicking my butt during the Olympics in Barcelona, and then motivating me to work even harder to become an important part of the Chicago Bulls,” Kukoc said during his Hall of Fame induction speech.

Well said, Toni.
