Tom Parker of The Wanted says his brain tumor has shrunk

Tom Parker, the singer from the boy band The Wanted diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer, said Thursday that there has been a major shrinkage in the size of his tumor.

Parker, 32, wrote in an Instagram post that an MRI scan showed “significant reduction” in the tumor and that he is responding positively to treatment.

“Everyday I’m keeping on the fight to shrink this bastard!” he said in the post.

Along with the statement, he attached an image of himself and his wife, Kelsey Hardwick, each holding one of their two babies.
