Tom Holland supported by Zendaya at new West End show
Tom Holland has been supported by girlfriend Zendaya at the premiere of his new West End production of Romeo & Juliet.
The Spider-Man actor is taking on the role of Shakespeare's Romeo at the Duke of York Theatre in London, starring alongside Bad Education's Francesca Amewudah-Rivers's Juliet.
The production's press night took place last night (May 23), with many famous faces in attendance including Zendaya, who reportedly stayed backstage rather than walk the red carpet (via The Mirror).

"Thank you to everyone who queued up and I'll see you all soon. Much love and again, thank you thank you thank you."
The version of the classic tragedy is directed by Jamie Lloyd, and is described as a "pulsating new vision of Shakespeare's immortal tale of wordsmiths, rhymers, lovers and fighters".
Jamie Lloyd's Romeo & Juliet, starring Tom Holland, runs at the Duke of York Theatre in central London from May 11 to August 3, 2024.
