Tom Holland Is 'Missing My Lady' in Devastating Life Update

Tom Holland is mourning the loss of his adorable pup Tessa.

Over the weekend, the 27-year-old actor shared a tear-jerking tribute to Tessa, including a close-up photo of the pooch with a three-word caption.

"Missing my lady," he simply wrote before adding a red heart emoji.

In his now-deleted Instagram Story on Sunday, April 21, he also shared another photo of the blue Staffordshire bull terrier titled “T-Day” with a link to his father Dom Holland‘s Patreon blog, per Us Magazine.

Tom adopted Tessa when she was just a puppy. The actor introduced her to Instagram with an adorable picture of himself cradling her like a newborn. "I would like to introduce to everyone little Tess," he wrote in the caption of his July 2014 upload. "The newest member of the family. #staffs."

At the time, the Spider-Man star reportedly still lived with his parents, Dom and Nikki Holland, as well as his three younger brothers–Harry, 25, Sam, also 25, and Paddy, 19–so it seems she quickly became the baby of the family and made numerous cameos on Tom's social media.

Sadly, their beloved pup died earlier this month, according to a blog post written by Dom and published just three days ago.

"Not so much an obituary—but more an insight into the final lap of the life of a remarkable little dog who had come to dominate my family—indeed, she was the only Holland who everyone loved all of the time,” he wrote per the outlet.

Hours after the news of Tessa's passing, nearly every photo of her shared on the Meta-owned platform became overwhelmed with condolences from caring fans.

"❤️So sorry for your loss, Spiderman. She was so darling. And a good example of how dear a pit can be," one Instagram user replied.

"It’s the hardest, man," another wrote of losing a pet. "No love like it. ❤️."

"She wasn’t even my dog and I’m sad," a third confessed.

Countless others shared some variation of: "RIP she will be missed ❤🕊️."
