Tom Brady Left This Hollywood Legend Weak in the Knees

With seven Super Bowl wins under his belt, Tom Brady is showing no signs of slowing down: the quarterback famously returned to the NFL last year just weeks after announcing his retirement, and his fellow Tampa Bay Buccaneers think he could have another five seasons or more in him. But it's not just his track record on the field or elite offseason training that set Brady apart: he has also made quite the impression on Hollywood royalty.

Jane Fonda, star of the upcoming sports comedy 80 for Brady, recently told the Hollywood Reporter that she was "completely starstruck" when she met Brady on the set of the movie, and that it was a thrill to work with somebody at the top of their game.

"He was kind and humble, which is hard to believe considering how brilliant he is at what he does, but it's true," said Fonda. "He was also sweet and polite... My knees actually got weak when he walked into my trailer. I'm in awe of that kind of skill. When somebody is the best in the world at what they do, you have to honor that and respect it. I was just awestruck."

80 for Brady follows four friends, played by Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Rita Moreno and Sally Field, on their quest to meet Brady at the 2017 Super Bowl. Brady plays himself in the movie, and his co-stars, each MVPs in their own right, believe he could have a bright future in acting after he leaves the NFL. "He's a good actor," remarked Tomlin, while Field said that Brady is "clearly a performer" as well as a "jaw-dropping, once-in-a-lifetime athlete."
