Dylan Dreyer may spend her mornings reporting the latest news on the Today show, but even she can't get away from giggling at potentially risqué jokes.

The NBC journalist and her husband Brian Fichera recently recorded an episode for their SiriusXM radio show Lunch Date with Dylan and Brian during which the word "spatchcocking" was brought up. As Dylan attempted to guess the meaning of the culinary term (usually used for poultry), she couldn't help but cry tears of laughter while Brian tried to describe it through a golf example.

"I'm gonna say that on the golf course now. 'Man, you spatchcocked that drive,'" Brian said to Dylan in an Instagram clip posted on January 23. "Oh my god, I'm pretty sure coffee's coming out of my eyeballs. Holy cow. It means to flatten it," she replied.

Although Dylan didn't know the textbook definition (it's a butterfly technique!), she wasn't the only one wiping tears away from laughing too hard. Today show fans quickly caught on to the longtime NBC couple's borderline-NSFW conversation and had a similar reaction.

"You guys are hilarious! Made my afternoon," one person wrote in the comments. "Yes it is. I actually feel 'naughty' just saying the word. 😜😂😂," another added. "I’m dying right now 😂 ANDDDDD ABSOLUTELY going to use the spatchcock on my next 18 holes! ⛳️," a different user replied.

This interaction between Dylan and Brian is another reason why folks continue tuning into their radio show, which began in early 2022. After meeting on the set of the Today show and celebrating 10 years of marriage, the duo is opening up about family mishaps (they share sons Calvin, Oliver and Rusty), rare relationship insight and other relatable topics.

What's more, it turns out that Brian's golf reference wasn't so random after all. The TV personality recently documented her debut in the celebrity division of the LPGA Tournament of Champions, taking her husband/co-host along for the ride.
