'Today' Fans Are Siding With Dylan Dreyer Over Her Surprising On-Air Confession

Dylan Dreyer has a confession to make, and it's left people thinking intensely about the way we consume television.
In a Today show segment from August 15, contributor Adrianna Brach quizzed Dylan and Al Roker about their long-term hygienic routines. When Adrianna asked the duo about when they think is a good time to replace their toothbrushes, Dylan answered she waits until the color of the bristles change. Al responded by saying he prefers switching his toothbrush every month. But with Al's response came a surprise tidbit about one of Dylan's major pet peeves.
"Here's a fun fact about Dylan Dreyer," Al began. "She can't watch anybody brush their teeth."
As Adrianna looked at Dylan with shock on her face, the Earth Odyssey star explained that this phenomenon happens more often than viewers may expect.
"Every show, every movie, at some point someone is always brushing their teeth," she said with a disgusted facial expression.

"Is it the sound or is it just watching it?" a curious Adrianna asked.
"It's the spitting," Dylan replied. "It's like watching them do it."
While Dylan's distaste for seeing people brush their teeth may seem a bit out of left field, many fans surprisingly agreed with how she felt. What's more, they shared their own opinions on the subject in the comments.
"Glad I'm not the only one! I'm just like Dylan, when I see someone brushing their teeth on TV I have to look elsewhere. And why do they show people brushing their teeth so much?!" one person wrote on Instagram. "I'm with Dylan, seeing other people brush their teeth grosses me out!" another penned on YouTube. "Seeing someone dry brush with no toothpaste is a definite ick," a different follower added.
Needless to say, it may not be the smartest idea to let Dylan know about folks' teeth cleaning habits any time soon...
