TJ Maxx grand opening in Athens

Apr. 19—The city of Athens said the grand opening of TJ Maxx at 7 a.m., Sunday, April 21, will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony and other entertainment.

Festivities set for the grand opening include a live DJ both inside and outside of the store, performances by the Athens High School Band and a fashion show kicking off around 7:30 a.m. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 8 a.m., will also feature a donation to Habitat for Humanity of the River Valley.
