Tim Tebow Has Brutally Honest Admission On College Referees
Officiating early on in today’s matchup between Arkansas and Auburn was questionable to say the least.
In the first quarter, Tigers running back Jarquez Hunter clearly fumbled the ball while getting taken down by a Razorbacks defender. Somehow, the officials didn’t see it that way.
Even after going to the booth to review the play, the referees upheld the original call of Hunter’s halted forward progress and no fumble.

Of course Arkansas fans were furious with this call, but plenty of unbiased college football fans and analysts came forward to denounce this head-scratching decision as well.
Taking to Twitter after the ruling, ESPN analyst Tim Tebow ripped the SEC officials.
“As a die-hard fan of college football, it’s frustrating to watch some of these games being taken out of the player’s hands because of officiating. #AuburnVsArkansas,” he wrote.

For Arkansas fans, this lack of a fumble call against Auburn is all too familiar. In last year’s contest, Tigers QB Bo Nix’s famous spike-or-fumble play went against the Razorbacks and resulted in a game-winning field goal for their SEC rivals.

Midway through the fourth quarter, No. 17 Arkansas trails unranked Auburn 31-23.
