Tim Burton Makes Red Carpet Debut With Girlfriend Monica Bellucci in Rome

Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci have finally made their relationship red carpet official.
The filmmaker and the Italian icon attended the premiere of film Diabolik Chi Sei? held at the Auditorium Parco Della Music as part of the Rome Film Festival on Oct.19. The pair walked the red carpet holding hands, smiling as photographers snapped them together.

They cozied up to each other for their first official pictures as a couple, with the actress resting her head on the famed director's. Bellucci donned a grey Dolce & Gabbana off-the-shoulder jersey maxi dress paired with a diamond necklace, while Burton opted for an all-black suit.

In late June, Bellucci confirmed her relationship with Burton in an interview with Elle France. "What I can say… I'm glad I met the man, first of all," she told the publication. "It's one of those encounters that rarely happens in life…I know the man, I love him, and now I'm going to meet the director, another adventure begins."
She also told the magazine what she loves the most about her partner's work, noting, "I love this dream world where the monsters are kind, like we can turn our darker aspects into something bright, forgiving. Tim Burton's films talk about that a lot."
Bellucci recently worked alongside Burton, as she is said to have a supporting role in his upcoming Beetlejuice sequel, alongside Jenna Ortega and Winona Ryder.
The actress was previously married to Vincent Cassel from 1999 until August 2013. Meanwhile, Burton has had multiple high-profile serious relationships. He was married to artist Lena Gieseke from 1987 until 1991. He was also with Lisa Marie from 1993 until 2001. The same year he split from the model, he found love with ex-wife Helena Bonham Carter, with whom he shares two children, Billy and Nell. Burton and Bonham Carter announced their separation in 2014.
