Will Tiger Woods play in the 2024 Masters?

Woods is scheduled to play, having been included in the 2024 Masters field released last week by Augusta National Golf Club. It would be his 26th career Masters start.

When was Tiger Woods' last Masters win?

Woods’ last Masters title came at the age of 43 in 2019, when he climbed a crowded leaderboard in Sunday's final round to earn his fifth green jacket. It was his first major championship since the 2008 U.S. Open and the first major title in which he wasn’t tied or in the lead through 54 holes.

His previous Masters wins came in 1997, 2001, 2002 and 2005.

How many golf majors does Tiger Woods have?

Woods owns 15 major championships, second all-time behind Jack Nicklaus’ 18. In addition to his five green jackets, he’s won four PGA Championships (1999, 2000, 2006, 2007), three U.S. Opens (2000, 2002, 2008) and three Open Championships (2000, 2005, 2006).

Most notably, he won each of the four majors consecutively, starting with the 2000 U.S. Open (June). His run continued with the 2000 Open Championship (July), the 2000 PGA Championship (August) and, finally, the 2001 Masters.

The feat is known to this day as the “Tiger Slam.” In total, Woods earned eight tournament wins over 18 starts throughout the stretch.

According to Bet MGM, Woods’ odds to win the 2024 Masters sit at +10,000. For context, Scottie Scheffler is the leader at +450, and 2023 Masters champion Jon Rahm is right behind him at +1,000.
