There’s a chance that Tiger Woods could play at the Presidents Cup later this year.

Presidents Cup captain Davis Love III confirmed that Woods can have any role he wants during that event, even a playing role.

“If he wants to be co-captain or assistant captain or player. Whatever he wants to do,” Love III said.

With how Woods was able to play at The Masters this past weekend, it would make a lot of sense for him to play this event. Five months separate these events so he’ll have plenty of time to practice and strengthen his leg even more.

The golf world is excited about the possibility of Woods playing this event.

Woods has said that he’ll play select tournaments throughout the year but won’t play the PGA Tour full-time.

The Presidents Cup is set to begin on Sept. 19 and it will go through Sept. 25.
