Tiffani Thiessen's Go-To Skincare Product Is Under $30

While everyone talks about being thirty, flirty, and thriving, there is something to say about being fun, fabulous, and fifty as well. Tiffani Thiessen recently celebrated her 50th birthday and it goes to show the actress knows a thing or two about having a good time. Decorated dinners, zip-lining, and matching tattoos are just a few things she posted on her Instagram to commemorate 50 years of life.

Another thing she’s sharing? Her take on aging.

As someone who’s been in the industry for more than half her life, she seems to navigate the spotlight in an admirable way.

“I was taught at a very young age to not take things for granted and not to take things too seriously. I think that is the biggest thing I’ve taken away from my childhood that I still really try to apply to my life today and how I want to raise my kids as well," Tiffani told us.

And when it comes to the taboo term “aging”, turning 50 is just another year to reflect on everything she's thankful for and a chance to look forward to more opportunities that may come her way.

“We already have so much stress and not such positive things going on in the world," she explained. "We all could use a dose of fun and laughter, it's good for the soul, good for the brain, good for the heart.”

So, what about that glowing skin she's got that pretty much everyone wants to achieve, no matter their age? It's not some super fancy or expensive product that's hard to get your hands on.

Tiffani swears by using Olay. As a busy mom, she says it's a must-have for mornings and is a total time-saver.

“Mornings are crazy," she laughed. "To be able to literally just wash my face and put on Olay Regenerist is a game changer because that’s all I do most of the time.”

And she's not the only one who loves it. The product has over 15,000 ratings on Amazon alone. A ton of other celebs like Dolly Parton and Drew Barrymore speak highly of the brand, too. But she didn't start using the brand because of them. Like many of us, Olay seemed to be passed down over time.

“Olay is one of those things that I remember so deeply that my grandmother used to have. It’s so interesting because here I am turning 50 and using the newest version of Olay, but still using the same brand. It’s kind of full circle.”

A 1.7oz jar of Olay Regenerist comes in at $27 and is sold on Amazon and pretty much any drugstore you walk into.

Something else she recommends is drinking enough water. Once she started getting more sleep and drinking more water, she noticed a pretty significant difference on the inside, as well as the outside.

"You can’t have good health on the outside, your skin, without doing something for your inside. You’ve got to make sure you’re hydrated on the inside too.”

Although she stays busy as a mom, and even recently released a new cookbook, she's serious about taking care of herself, inside and out. She's been known to cold plunge and take time for herself in the sauna, as seen on her Instagram.

While options like these can cost a pretty penny, there are plenty of affordable and friendly alternatives like running a cold bath in your own tub, throw some ice cubes in there, and let yourself submerge for at-least 3-5 minutes. And if you're looking for a good at-home sauna, there are a lot of options online to check out.

She also uses devices like a facial steamer and skincare wand to add some extra care to her skin.
