BASEBALL

Bay Port 1, Notre Dame 0

SUAMICO - Both teams pitched no-hitters but the Pirates scratched out a run on a squeeze bunt for the win over the Tritons.

Craig Kabat pitched six innings and struck out 13 for Bay Port. Austin VanDeYacht pitched one inning and struck out one.

Dylan Heier brought home the game’s only run with a successful bunt.

Avery Duncan struck out seven batters for Notre Dame.

Denmark 5, Fox Valley Lutheran 4

DENMARK - The Vikings’ David Dittmer walked, stole second and scored on Braedyn Heezen’s single to right field in the 11th inning to give Denmark the win over the Foxes.

The game was a continuation of the game suspended after 10 innings due to darkness on April 18.

Dittmer pitched the final inning for Denmark, striking out three while walking two.

Dittmer and Brandon Dvorak both had two hits.

Dvorak pitched the first four innings, allowing one run on zero hits while striking out four. Case Delarwelle pitched 4⅔ innings of relief, allowing one run on two hits.

Jacob Bickel had a two-run single for Fox Valley Lutheran in the sixth inning to tie the game 4-4.

Denmark is 13-3 overall and 11-2 in the North Eastern Conference. FVL is 9-4 in the conference.

Bonduel 5, Shiocton 1

SHIOCTON - The Bears struck for one run in the first before adding three in the fifth and one in the sixth to earn the Central Wisconsin Conference-East win.

The Chiefs scored their lone run in the bottom of the fifth.

Cade Johnson earned the win, pitching seven innings, allowing one run on four hits, walking one and striking out four.

James Mutchie took the loss for Shiocton, pitching five innings, allowing four runs, six hits and four walks while striking out five.

Noah Weier led the Bears at the plate with two hits and two RBI.

Bonduel moves to 13-3 overall and 9-1 in CWC-East play.

Crivitz 2, Lena 1

CRIVITZ - The Wolverines scored two early runs and made them stand up as Crivitz held off the Wildcats for the Marinette & Oconto Conference win.

Crivitz scored one run in the first and one in the third, but managed just two hits on the day.

Lena scored its run in the fourth, and had three hits total.

Pierce Polomis pitched five innings to get the win, allowing one unearned run on three hits with three walks and four strikeouts.

Logan Graef took the loss for Lena, allowing two runs - one earned - on two hits, four walks and six strikeouts in six innings.

The win moves the Wolverines to 9-3 in the M&O and 10-7 overall, while the Wildcats fall to 4-7 and 6-8.

St. Thomas Aquinas 7, Wausaukee 4

WAUSAUKEE - The Cavaliers scored four runs in the fourth, two in the fifth and one in the sixth to earn the Marinette & Oconto Conference victory.

Jake Farley and Henry Piasecki had two hits apiece for St. Thomas, which took advantage of six walks and four errors.

The Rangers were led by Christian Deschane, who had three RBI, and Kayden Suennen, who had two hits.

With the win, the Cavaliers move to 4-8 in the conference and 5-10 overall, while Wausaukee falls to 5-7 and 8-9.

SOFTBALL

Pulaski 5, Notre Dame 1

GREEN BAY - Morgan Vertz pitched a complete game to lead the Red Raiders past the Tritons.

Vertz allowed four hits and struck out six.

Kianna Altendorf hit a two-run home run for Pulaski. Molly Molthen added a two-run triple.

Ella Nowak took the loss for Notre Dame. She pitched a complete game, allowed five hits and three earned runs.

Ava Massey had an RBI for the Tritons.

Ashwaubenon 2, Bay Port 1

SUAMICO - The Jaguars improved to 15-0 in the Fox River Classic Conference and 21-1 overall with the win over the Pirates to clinch at least a share of the FRCC title.

Ashwaubenon holds a three-game lead over second-place Green Bay Preble and De Pere, who are both 12-3.

Bay Port is now 8-7 in conference play.

Luxemburg-Casco 13, Little Chute 0

LITTLE CHUTE - The Spartans are now 14-1 in the North Eastern Conference and 19-1 overall and maintained their one-game lead over Freedom (15-5, 13-2) in the conference.

Little Chute fell to 1-14 in conference play and 1-17 overall.

Denmark 15, Wrightstown 0

DENMARK - The Vikings scored four runs in both the first and second innings and then added seven runs in the third inning in their win over the Tigers, stretching their win streak to six games.

Denmark improves to 13-3 in the North Eastern Conference and 16-5 overall.

Wrightstown is now 5-10 in conference play and 6-12 overall.

Crivitz 18, Lena 4

CRIVITZ - The Wolverines scored 13 runs in the third inning to snap a 4-4 tie with the Wildcats.

Madelyn Welty had four hits, scored three runs and drove in three runs for Crivitz. Taryn Tracy had three hits, including two doubles, scored three runs and drove in two. Brecken Ott had three hits, including a double, and three runs scored. Kiya Brand had two hits and scored twice. Izabella Wesoloski had two hits, including a double, and drove in four. Kirsten Pusick had a double, scored three runs and drove in two runs. Tayah Werner had two hits, drove in two runs and scored twice.

Peyton Dorow had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs for Lena.

Isabelle Danielczak pitched the final three innings of the five-inning game to get the win.

Lily Neta took the loss for Lena.

GIRLS SOCCER

De Pere 1, Notre Dame 1

GREEN BAY - The Redbirds and Tritons battled to a draw, leaving De Pere two points behind first-place Bay Port in the Fox River Classic Conference and Notre Dame four points behind.

De Pere, since losing to Kimberly 5-0 on April 13, has won five matches and tied five matches.

Bay Port is 6-0-0 in the FRCC, De Pere is 4-0-2 and Notre Dame is 3-1-2.

The Tritons are 10-3-2 overall.

Luxemburg-Casco 2, Ripon 0

LUXEMBURG - Emi Kuhn scored a pair of goals as the Spartans topped the Tigers in a nonconference matchup.

The Luxemburg-Casco defense held Ripon to only one shot as Ashley Fameree earned the shutout in goal.
