BASEBALL

De Pere 10, Sheboygan South 2

SHEBOYGAN - Landon Raygo pitched five strong innings, allowing an unearned run on two hits, striking out nine and walking two to lift the Redbirds to the Fox River Classic Conference win.

Axel Donaldson had half of De Pere’s eight hits, going 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI.

Dom Justus was 2-for-4 to lead South.

The win moves De Pere to 8-2 overall and 7-1 in the FRCC.

Denmark 10, Freedom 0

DENMARK - The Vikings improved to 8-3 overall and 7-2 in the North Eastern Conference with the win over the Irish.

Jaycob Dittmer threw a five-inning one-hitter. He struck out five.

Dittmer, Brandon Dvorak and Josh Gajeski each had two hits. Dvorak had two RBI.

Drew Kortz had the lone hit for Freedom, which fell to 7-7 overall and 3-6 in the conference.

Little Chute 3, Wrightstown 0

LITTLE CHUTE - The Mustangs’ Ethan Melendrez pitched a complete game, allowing two hits and three walks to go along with seven strikeouts in Little Chute’s win over the Tigers.

Kyler Marquardt had three hits, including a double, and drove in two runs for Little Chute. Grant Van Gompel had two hits.

Trevor Vande Hey had both of Wrightstown’s hits.

Aiden Humphreys took the loss for Wrightstown.

Crivitz 7, Gillett/Suring 0

GILLETT - Pierce Polomis allowed just three hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five innings to earn the win.

Stephen Allard pitched the final two innings, allowing one hit while striking out one.

Polomis also led the offense with two hits, while Tegan Werner scored three runs.

The Wolverines struck early with two runs in the first and three in the second before plating single runs in the sixth and seventh.

Gibraltar/Washington Island 8, Sheboygan Lutheran 1

SHEBOYGAN - The Vikings scored six times in the third as they cruised to the nonconference win.

Beckett Johnson was 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI to power Gibraltar. Aaron Brey added three hits, while Braden Kita added two.

Kole Klapperich had a pair of hits for Sheboygan Lutheran.

Wausaukee 9, Wabeno/Laona 8

WAUSAUKEE - The Rangers scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to propel the Rangers past the Rebels.

Luke Smith powered the Wausaukee offense with two hits. The Rangers managed just six hits, but took advantage of four Wabeno/Laona errors and seven walks.

Brady Shepard had two hits for the Rebels.

The win moves Wausaukee to 5-5 overall, while Wabeno/Laona falls to 2-6.

SOFTBALL

Green Bay Preble 13, Green Bay Notre Dame 3

GREEN BAY - Tenley Kuehn was the winning pitcher in five innings, limiting the Tritons to six hits in the Fox River Classic Conference matchup at Finger Road Park.

The Hornets’ 12-hit attack was led by Katie Geydoshek, Sam Foytik, Makenna Weidner, Hannah Von Haden and Kaitlyn DuChateau, who recorded two hits each.

Madeline Hilts had two hits for Notre Dame.

Crivitz 13, Gillett/Suring 1

GILLETT - The Wolverines banged out 24 hits and used a nine-run sixth to put away the game.

Leading the Crivitz offense were Madelyn Welty with four hits and five RBI, Hattie Frievalt with four hits, Taryn Tracy, Isabelle Danielczak and Tayah Werner with three hits each, and Kirsten Pusick and Kiya Brand with two hits each.

Danielczak picked up the win in the circle, scattering four hits, one earned run and one walk while striking out eight.

TRACK AND FIELD

Shawano Ryan Jozwiak Invitational

BOYS

SHAWANO 89, BONDUEL 53, MENASHA 37

Shawano’s Andon Chelberg won the 800- and 1,600-meter runs with times of 2:12.30 and 4:47.95, respectively. Mason Theis took first in the shot put and discus with a put of 42.0-5 and a throw of 124-8, respectively. Ryan Schwitzer won the 400 with a time of :55.41 and ran with Logan Korth, Maverick Theis and Trevor Schwartz to win the 800 in 3:56.39.

Bonduel’s Ben O’Brien teamed with Gage Anderson, Griffin Uelmen and Oliver Chitwood to win the 3,200 relay in 9:22.09. O’Brien also won the 3,200 in 10:54.40. Uelmen, Ryan Westrich, Sam Roberts and Owen Springborn won the 800 relay with a time of 1:38.40. Roberts also picked up a first in the triple jump with a jump of 40-1.5.

GIRLS

SHAWANO 82, BONDUEL 67, MENASHA 29

Shawano’s Madisyn Weinig took first in the shot put with a put of 31-6.5 and in the discus with a throw of 93-5. Natalie Bystol won the 100-meter dash with a time of :13.47 and ran to first with Onna Hermann, Maci Beyer and Gwyn Hermann in the 800 relay in 1:56.46. Beyer also won the 800 in 2:37.91. Beyer, Emma Neilson, Lauren Harkey and Teagan Powers won the 1,600 relay with a time of 4:51.15.

Bonduel’s Mariah Wondra took first in both the 1,600 and 3,200 with times of 5:36.18 and 12:05.73, respectively. Paige Niquette won the long jump with a jump of 14-8.25 and the 200 with a time of :28.59. Wondra, Cierra Schnell, Ashlyn Kurey and Teagan Engel won the 3,200 relay in 10:41.77.

Luxemburg-Casco Spartan Invitational

BOYS

LUXEMBURG-CASCO 102, SOUTHERN DOOR 92, TWO RIVERS 53, DENMARK 23

Luxemburg-Casco’s Mason Trimberger won the 110- and 300-meter hurdles with times of :18.02 and :43.68, respectively. Trimberger, Lane Ledvina, Trevor Beaupre and Hudson Thiry won the 1,600 relay with a time of 3:51.46. Thiry took first in the 400 with a time of :56.07. Beaupre won the long and triple jumps with jumps of 20-10.5 and 42-3.5, respectively. Beaupre was also part of the winning 800 relay team with Brian Enderby, Andrew Klass and Michael Morozov, winning in 1:38.95.

Southern Door’s Zack Lynch won the 100 and 200 with times of :11.75 and :23.66, respecctively. Lynch, Lauden Berg, Alaric Urban and Colt Gilbertson won the 400 relay with a time of :46.65. Ben Grota took first in the 1,600 and 3,200 with times of 4:34.16 and 10:36.47, respectively.

GIRLS

LUXEMBURG-CASCO 103, SOUTHERN DOOR 80, TWO RIVERS 76, DENMARK 12

Luxemburg-Casco’s Sienna Blohowiak won the 100- and 200-meter dashes with times of :13.41 and :27.22, respectively. Blohowiak teamed with Grace Seering, Elaina Holschuh and McKenna Rank to win the 1,600 relay with a time of 4:24.37. Seering won the 300 hurdles with a time of :50.07. Rank won the 400 with a time of 1:05.74.

Southern Door’s Frankie Nellis captured first place in the long and triple jumps with jumps of 16-3 and 32-8, respectively. Nellis was on Southern Door’s winning 800 relay team along with Kailey Guilette, Kyleigh Claflin and Elise Jackson, winning with a time of 1:53.97. Jackson won the 100 hurdles with a time of :17.44.

GIRLS SOCCER

Luxemburg Casco 1, Fox Valley Lutheran 0

APPLETON - Diem Bonness had a corner kick that deflected off a Fox Valley Lutheran player for an own goal as the Spartans topped the Foxes in a North Eastern Conference matchup.

Luxemburg-Casco had seven shots on goal, while goalkeeper Tabi Lemens made five saves for the shutout.
