BASEBALL

Notre Dame 4, Bay Port 2

GREEN BAY - Christian Collins had two hits and drove in two runs for the Tritons in the win over the Pirates.

Brady LaViolette hit a home run for Notre Dame and Aaron Heyroth also had an RBI.

Noah Smits pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts and zero walks for the win.

Pulaski 7, De Pere 5

DE PERE - Jacob McDonald was 3-for-4 with an RBI and Logan Schultz was 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI to help lead the Red Raiders past the preseason top-ranked Redbirds.

Brett Schott was 2-for-3 with two RBI for Pulaski.

Lucas Koskey was 2-for-4 with a double to lead De Pere’s offense.

The Redbirds host a doubleheader with Green Bay Preble on Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m.

Little Chute 9, Denmark 0

LITTLE CHUTE - Charlie VandenBurgte allowed three hits while striking out 11 over six innings in the Mustangs’ win over the Vikings.

The loss ended Denmark’s 25-game North Eastern Conference winning streak and 21-game overall winning streak.

Little Chute scored five runs in the first inning with the help of three walks and two hit batters

Brock Gardner had two hits for Little Chute, which finished with six walks and three hit batters.

Ebyn LaForest had two hits for Denmark.

Both teams are now 2-1 in the NEC.

Oconto 6, Crivitz 1

OCONTO - Riley Susa and Cooper Campshure combined to no-hit the Wolverines.

Collin Baumann led Oconto’s offense with two hits and an RBI.

Coleman 8, Wausaukee 0

WAUSAUKEE - The Cougars took advantage of six walks and five errors, scoring once in the first, six times in the fifth and once in the sixth to earn the Marinette & Oconto Conference win.

Logan Lamine picked up the win, pitching all seven innings, allowing one hit and one walk, while striking out seven.

Kayden Suennen had the Rangers’ lone hit.

Mishicot 13, Gibraltar/Washington Island 3

FISH CREEK - The Indians broke open the game against the Vikings in the second inning when they scored eight runs.

Brady Urbanek had three hits, including a triple, for Mishicot. Reid Strupp had two hits and drove in four runs. Daryn Smith scored three runs and drove in two runs.

Nolan Sand got the win for Mishicot.

Braden Kita took the loss for Gibraltar/Washington Island.

SOFTBALL

Seymour 5, Menasha 2

SEYMOUR - The Thunder scored three times in the third and twice in the fourth to erase an early one-run deficit en route to the Bay Conference win.

Addison Wery doubled in two runs, Morgan Miller drove in two runs and Aubrey Hartleben drove in another to pace Seymour.

For Menasha, Hannah Neubert’s double in the second scored one run, while Alyssa Rusch’s pinch-hit home run on the first pitch of the seventh closed out the scoring.

Gillian Herrala picked up the win for Seymour, pitching seven innings and allowing four hits, two earned runs, three walks and four strikeouts.

Crivitz 17, Oconto 2

OCONTO - After trailing 2-0 after two innings, the Wolverines erupted for one run in the third, five in the fourth, two in the fifth and nine in the sixth to put an end to the nonconference game.

Taryn Tracy powered Crivitz with a 4-for-5 performance, while Hattie Frievalt and Isabelle Danielczek were 3-for-5 with four RBI. Izabella Weselowski also had three hits, while Kirsten Pusick, Madelyn Welty and Kiya Brand added two hits each. Brand added two RBI.

Danielczek picked up the win, allowing 10 hits but just two earned runs, three walks and one strikeout.

Lauren McDowell, Elaina Moody and Savannah Brill had two hits each to lead Oconto.

GIRLS SOCCER

Green Bay East 8, Green Bay West 0

GREEN BAY - C.J. Ross scored four times and the Red Devils raced out to a 6-0 halftime lead en route to the Bay Conference win.

Also scoring for East were Fabiola Lopez, Maddie Payant, Sherlyn Grijalva and Cynthia Coronado Delgadillo.

Grijalva added two assists, while Nadia Gaytan, Erin Bathke, Tiana Perez and Coronado Delgadillo had one each.

Jamaya Mariner made one save in net for the win.

Marinette 5, Waupaca 5

MARINETTE - Chloe Seymour had two goals to help the Marines battle the Comets to a tie.

Josie Smerchek and Sierra Schreiner both had one goal and two assists for Marinette. Kylie Kunick had a goal.

Serenity Vanpool had nine saves in goal for Marinette.

Appleton East 2, De Pere 1

DE PERE - Addison Wreath scored two goals for the Patriots in the nonconference win.

Maiya Wheaton and Marley Wreath had assists for the Patriots, who improved their record to 4-0.
