Thunder waives Aleksej Pokusevski
The Thunder waived fourth-year forward Aleksej Pokusevski on Friday. Here's what coach Mark Daigneault had to say:
"(When he was drafted) I didn't think he really had a great understanding of his own game as a professional player... Three and a half years later, I think he's improved in all those things. And that's what we want to be about." Notes that the team obviously couldn't carve a consistent role for him, "but he's just another guy that we're rooting for. We believe in him, we appreciate his commitment to our program over his time here."
