Throwback: Lindsey Vonn’s Best Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Photos
Former star United States Olympian Lindsey Vonn is on the list of notable athletes to have posed for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
Vonn, now 36, posed for the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue multiple years, most recently in 2019.
The legendary skier has said her favorite memory was the body paint shoot.
“I think the body paint shoot was the craziest shoot I’ve been on. From the 13 hours of painting to running around basically naked…it was a trip! By the end of the shoot I felt so confident I didn’t even realize I was only wearing paint!” she said.

Vonn is one of several notable athletes to have posed for the issue. Alex Morgan, Genie Bouchard, Lindsey Vonn, Paige Spiranac, Danica Patrick and Anastasia Ashley, among others, have also posed for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue over the years.
The 2021 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue was released earlier this summer.
