Three killed in West Chester Township crash Sunday

Three people are dead following a crash in West Chester Township Sunday night.

Police were called to a crash involving three vehicles on Sunday at 6:10 p.m. The crash happened on Cox Road between University Pointe and Service Drive.

Barb Wilson, township spokeswoman, said two people died at the scene and a third died at West Chester Hospital.

All three were adults. No further information was available about the people who died.

Cox Road is closed in both directions between Liberty Way and VOA Park Drive. West Chester police continue their investigation and the road will be closed for several hours, she said.
