Three Cumberland County men die in recent traffic accidents

Three Cumberland County men have died in a pair of single-vehicle accidents.

Shaquile Banks, 30, of Bridgeton, was fatally injured when his car struck several trees of northbound Route 55 on March 6, according to New Jersey State Police.

The accident occurred around 11:10 p.m. near milepost 59.3 police said.

Earlier, a car driven by Jonathan Sandoval, 29, of Millville, struck a utility pole off State Highway 77 in Upper Pittsgrove on Feb. 28.

Sandoval was fatally injured in the crash, which occurred around 2 a.m. near milepost 10.1, police said.

A passenger, 26-year-old Guillermo Antonio of Bridgeton, was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
