Three people have been arrested after two men were stabbed in a fight.

Police were called to the disturbance in Howard Place, Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent, just before midnight on Tuesday.

Two men, aged in their 20s and from Stoke, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Staffordshire Police confirmed.

A 29-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent, a man from Derby, 25, and a 27-year-old man from Bradford, were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.

A police spokesperson said all three remained in custody and the investigation was ongoing.
