With the holiday shopping season in full swing, the Tri-Cities has more places than ever to find thoughtful gifts locally.

In addition to the longtime favorites like Chukar Cherries and the Country Mercantile, there are plenty of new stores celebrating their first holiday season.

Public Market

The Public Market at Columbia River Warehouse has had a fantastic first summer and fall, and they’re ready for holiday shoppers.

With dozens of unique vendors, you’re sure to find something your loved ones will cherish.

Some of their newest vendors include: Knight’s Home Decor which specializes in welded art; Scott’s Essentials which sells hemp CBD bath and beauty products; Granny Anne’s Kitchen Creations for unique syrups and jellies; and Country Girl Creations by Michelle which has fun signs and wall hangings, as well as beautifully refinished rustic furniture.

The market’s winter hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The Public Market at Columbia River Warehouse is at 10 E. Bruneau Ave. in the old Welch’s juice plant. Parking and the entrance is near the corner of North Beech Street and Bruneau.

Popcorn Northwest

Everyone loves gourmet popcorn.

KC Brand Kettlecorn, which has become well known for their fundraisers and mobile events, now has their own storefront.

Popcorn Northwest is at 624 George Washington Way in Richland.

They offer all of their favorite gourmet flavors and even have an unbeatable holiday deal. They have tins starting at $50 with up to three flavors and customers can get it refilled throughout the year for only $20.

Popcorn Northwest is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Peony Street Market

This small market has a little bit of everything. From home decor to jewelry, vintage finds and even items from local artists on consignment.

Peony Street Market opened in August at 110 Wellsian Way in Richland. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Little Plant Shop

Nothing makes a house feel more like a home than some plants. Luckily the Tri-Cities now has two locations of the Little Plant Shop.

The popular plant shop, which started in Pasco, recently opened a Richland location at 709 The Parkway, next to Peacock Roasting Company and near Frost Me Sweet.

They get new plants in weekly, with regular posts to their Facebook page about inventory updates.

They carry everything from common houseplants to rare varieties, as well as planters and pots. Little Plant Shop also offers fun classes and consultations for homes and offices.

The Little Plant Shop’s Pasco location is at 3315 W. Court St., in the shopping center with Goodwill.

Both locations are open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m..

Luna Wellness Center

Luna Wellness Center is a one stop shop for all things spiritual and wellness. From crystals to custom tea blends to art and jewelry and even practitioners focused on improving their client’s happiness and well-being, this store has it all.

The store functions as a mall of sorts for a variety of vendors and services. They even offer events such as children’s yoga and sip and paint nights.

Services include Tarot reading, spiritual consultations, yoni steaming to help with reproductive health and more. The store features art, jewelry, custom tea blends, candles, crystals and more.

The tea can come in pre-made recipes for pain relief, soothing, cramps or other issues or shoppers can consult with staff to create a blend to help with specific needs.

Luna Wellness Center is at 3330 W Court St. Ste H in Pasco. They’re open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Mexican market

A new Mexican market opened in Pasco in August.

SM Bodegón Artesanal aims to bring “a little piece of Mexico to you” with their market inspired store. They carry a wide array of traditional Mexican decor and merchandise, as well as some restaurant and cookout supplies.

They’re open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

SM Bodegón Artesanal is at 416 N. 20th Avenue in Pasco.

Crumbl Cookies

With three locations in Tri-Cities, this custom cookie shop is sure to have something for anyone on your Christmas shopping list.

They can accommodate just about any order, if you order ahead of time by calling the store or using their app.

All Tri-Cities locations are open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Crumbl Cookies is at 2665 Queensgate Dr., Richland, at 1102 N. Columbia Center Blvd., Kennewick, and at 5025 Rd 68 in Pasco.

Country Mercantile

This retailer has it all. From gift baskets to handmade chocolates to gourmet soup mixes and jams, and even local produce.

Country Mercantile is family owned, serving the Tri-Cities since 1996. They have a store in Richland and Pasco.

Country Mercantile in Richland is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the Pasco outlet is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Pasco is at 232 Crestloch Rd, just north of Pasco on Highway 395. The Richland store just south of Badger Mountain, at 5015 Ava Way. Take the Dallas Road (104) exit on Interstate 82.

Beaver Bark

This gift and garden center has everything from decor and gifts to landscaping supplies. They also offer classes and events.

Gift ideas include Koi pond accessories, seasonal decor, candles and diffusers, furniture, fashion and more. Don’t forget to check out the atrium to find gift ideas for loved ones with a green thumb.

Great Harvest Bread

Great Harvest bakery makes a variety of breads with daily specialties. They also have muffins, cakes, cookies and other baked goods.

Great Harvest also offers catering and gifting options, such as baskets and gift boxes.

The Kennewick location is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and is at 8378 W. Grandridge Blvd. The Pasco bakery is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and is at 6705 Chapel Hill Blvd.

The Richland location is open from Monday through Friday for PNNL employees at 3335 Innovation Blvd.

Chukar Cherries has continued to grow and add employees under founder Pam Montgomery since opening 26 years ago. The company will double the size of its production facility with the help of the Port of Benton.

This Prosser-based Northwest favorite sells a variety of holiday gift ideas with their trademark chocolate covered dried cherries and nuts to decadent desert sauces, preserves and more.

Their Prosser Wine Country store offers tastings of their trademark dried cherry confections. They’re open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The store and headquarters is at 320 Wine Country Rd in Prosser. Customers also can buy gifts and gift cards online.

Craft Beer and Wine

Looking for a gift for someone passionate about craft beer or local wine? Visit Tri-Cities has your guide to breweries, wineries and distilleries in the area.
