Rock band Third Eye Blind are coming to Macon in 2023. The ‘90s popular group will play at Macon City Auditorium March 15 at 7:30 p.m.

“Twenty-five years of Third Eye Blind finds us feeling glorious, as if everything is coming into deeper focus,” said band frontman Stephan Jenkins in a press release from the Macon Centreplex.

The show comes as part of a new tour that hits other southern cities including Knoxville, Tampa and Jacksonville.

“It’s not lost on us that this is a miracle, and that we are in it because of the new fans that keep discovering us and the people who, over the years, have made our music part of their culture,” Jenkins said in the release.

The tour supports their new albums Our Bande Apart and Unplugged, which were released over the past year. They were well-known among fans for their early albums including a self-titled debut in 1997 and “Blue” in 1999.

The show is also a benefit concert, with proceeds from each ticket going towards a California non-profit dedicated to planting trees and maintaining ocean ecosystems.

Tickets are sold online via TicketMaster and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. To gain access to a special presale of the tickets, fans can subscribe to the Centreplex Insider list. The special presale begins Thursday at 10 a.m.
