We think these would be the best buyers for the Sopranos booth at Holsten's
The famous "Sopranos booth" at Holsten's in Bloomfield was put up for auction on eBay on Wednesday night.
It's a hot commodity with dozens of bidders and tens of thousands of dollars at stake.
As a piece of history goes on sale, here are some of the people we think would make a great buyer!
Steven Van Zandt
As a member of the E Street Band, which is the backing band for rock legend Bruce Springsteen and his role as Silvio Dante; Tony Soprano's loyal consigliere is a New Jersey double threat. That makes him an ideal candidate for the historic booth.
David Chase
As the creator of the show Chase can keep the booth that meant so much to the series. Chase also grew up in New Jersey.
Michael Gandolfini
Michael Gandolfini followed in his father's footsteps by acting and even playing a young Tony Soprano in "The Many Saints of Newark." It would be a fitting tribute if he kept the booth.
Michael Imperioli, Edie Falco, Robert Iler or Jamie-Lynn Sigler
The group played Tony Soprano's family and several were there for that final scene at Holsten's.

Joe DiVincenzo Jr.
As Essex County Executive DiVincenzo can keep the booth local and find somewhere fitting nearby. It can be included in tours aimed at fans of the show.

The state of New Jersey
Much like DiVincenzo and the county, the state can take ownership of the booth and pay tribute. It can be a part of a public memorial to commemorate the show's impact on New Jersey and its contributions to television history. Perhaps at the James Gandolfini rest stop on the parkway?
