The Thing, Galactus, Human Torch actors rumored for Fantastic Four movie

If Hollywood rumours are to be believed, the cast for the upcoming Fantastic Four movie is pretty much locked in.

Yesterday we told you that Pedro Pascal has signed as Mr Fantastic, aka Reed Richards, with Venessa Kirby likely to become Susan Storm, The Invisible girl.

Now the latest gossip from TheInsneider says that Stranger Things’ Joseph Quinn has the role of the Human Torch aka Johnny Storm, with the final member of the FF family, The Thing, will be going to The Punisher and Andor actor Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

The villain of the piece will be planet-devouring cosmic being Galactus, which the same reports suggests will be played by No Country For Old Men’s Javier Bardem. If Galactus is involved, that makes us think we’ll also see The Silver Surfer, herald of Galactus in the comic books. The Insneider suggests the character will be gender-flipped from male to female for the FF movie.

There’s a lot of chatter about the upcoming Fantastic Four movie, although Marvel has remained tight-lipped about it, especially after the reports of trouble behind the scenes of the MCU.

According to TheInsneider, other names who tried out for the Reed Richards role included Adam Diver and Jake Gyllenhaal, while Emma Stone was considered for Susan Storm. If Barden doesn’t take the Galactus role, Antonio Banderas may be an alternative.
