There's a New Gatorade Flavor — and It's Only at Circle K

There are more than 7,000 Circle K shops around the United States. While visits here are usually reserved for when you need a snack on a road trip, this summer, Circle K is the place to be, and it's all thanks to an exclusive flavor from Gatorade you'll only find here.

This summer, between May and August, Circle K is aiming to be "America's Thirst Stop" with deals on its Polar Pop and Froster frozen drinks and an exclusive Gatorade flavor, Lightning Blast.

"As America's Thirst Stop, we want to be there for all of our customers' needs and make it easy to cool down, recharge, and rehydrate as the mercury rises," Trey Powell, the senior vice president of global merchandising at Circle K, shared in a statement. "With our exciting Froster and Polar Pop offerings priced at 79 cents and our exclusive Gatorade Lightning Blast flavor, we're looking forward to bringing refreshment and fun to your adventures, wherever they may lead this summer."

The brand is making the deal even better for its Circle K members — a program that is free to join just by popping in your email address — by knocking 10 cents off those frozen drink prices, making it easy to score one for just 69 cents using the Circle K app.

As for the new Gatorade flavor, Lightning Blast comes in a silver color, and as Circle K shared in a press release, comes with a "refreshing, fruity flavor." Not much else is known about the drink's taste, but really, who cares? We all know we pick Gatorade flavors based on their color anyway. The drink is available in 28 oz bottles and is easy to spot thanks to its purple and silver lightning bolt.

There is also one more surprise for ultra-thirsty patrons. Circle K is also bringing back its partnership with Mtn Dew for the third year in a row and offering Mtn Dew Purple Thunder in both regular and zero-sugar options throughout the summer. It's also now available in 12- and 15-count packs, so you can stock your road trip car with whatever drink you want.
