And then there were 6. Did Mississippi man continue as castaway on 'Survivor?'

Quintavius "Q" Burdette, a real estate agent from Senatobia and former Ole Miss football player, survived another round and was among the seven survivors that were narrowed down to only six castaways in Wednesday night's episode who are left on the island to compete in another adventure.

Fellow Mississippian Hunter McBride had been eliminated the week prior, leaving Burdette singled out as tough competition.

Maria Gonzalez attempted to continue to build an alliance with Burdette, but the entire cast was then plotting to work together to come up with a strategic plan to get Burdette and Gonzalez out of the competition.

"Q is in Maria's pocket, and I want him out of the game immediately," castaway Liz Wilcox said.

Idol fever strikes the NuiNui beach and launches a massive hunt for the last hidden immunity idol of the season in the “My Messy, Sweet Little Friend” episode of Season 46. With the end of the game in sight, castaways begin to question whether their resumes are enough to win the title of Sole Survivor. Immunity was up for grabs as the castaways had a chance to play to become safe in last night's challenge by attempting to keep a small ball balanced on a stick while stepping over hurdles and blocks in the sand.

Host Jeff Probst offered a reward of pizza at the end of the challenge, which the winner could share with two other castaways.

"Man, I am exhausted," said Burdette. "I've lost weight because I haven't eaten."

Gonzalez ultimately won last night's challenge and was guaranteed a spot in the final six, choosing Ben Katzman to join her for pizza and also a safe spot in the final six. Gonzalez made Liz Wilcox and Burdette play a quick game of "rock, paper, scissors" to help her pick her second choice. Burdette won.

"The pizza picking was a joke. I thought Maria was going to pick Venus (Vafa)," castaway Charlie Davis said. "But Q ended up going who's obviously well fed."

Burdette ended up getting one vote out of the seven remaining castaways. The other castaways voted for Vafa giving her a total of eight votes. Burdette, Vafa and Wilcox spent minutes before elimination arguing back and forth about who cannot be trusted, but eventually it resulted in Vafa being eliminated.

The remaining six survivors are Burdette, Wilcox, Davis, Gonzalez, Katzman and Kenzie Veurink.

"Survivor" Season 46 airs at 7 p.m. Wednesdays on CBS.
