It’s no secret Texas A&M isn’t happy about the SEC expansion talks involving Texas and Oklahoma. In fact, the Aggies might be the only SEC school opposed to it. But Texas A&M football star Leon O’Neal Jr. wants to set the record straight; they’re not scared of the Longhorns or Sooners.

O’Neal Jr. took to Twitter on Friday listing the Aggies’ 2020 resume and accomplishments, noting their tremendous success. It was a message to Oklahoma and Texas. The Texas A&M star wants the college football world to know him and his teammates aren’t “scared” of anyone.

Potential playoff team (snubbed) Finished #4 in the country Dominated the SEC only schedule (9–1) Finished #1 in defense In the SEC (Top 10 in the country) Orange Bowl Champions,” O’Neal tweeted on Friday. “Now tell me who the hell is scared ? Stop acting confused like our foundation isn’t strong.”

Texas A&M football’s track record speaks for itself. The Aggies were wildly successful playing in a competitive SEC last season. O’Neal Jr. doesn’t appear to be too concerned about the Longhorns or Sooners.

Texas A&M, along with Missouri, made the move from the Big 12 to the SEC back in 2012. The Aggies are the only program from the state of Texas in the conference, which just so happens to be something they’ve prided themselves on.

If Texas and Oklahoma make the move to the SEC, the Aggies would have even more competition on their hands. The Sooners are the better program as of late, and the Longhorns are obviously one of the biggest brands in football and without a doubt the most recognized in the state of Texas.

Texas A&M football is understandably unhappy about SEC expansion talks. But Aggies players don’t appear to be concerned.
