Tensions Rise on the Next Episode of 'When Calls the Heart'

Wow, Hearties, we're almost at the halfway mark of season 11! The will-they-or-won't-they dance continues between Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Nathan (Kevin McGarry). This viewer hopes they don't stretch things out too long as they've done in the past. Let's get into this week's episode of When Calls the Heart, where the two mayors of Hope Valley and Benson Hills face off at the negotiation table over the proposed resort. Read on to learn more!

What was last week's episode of When Calls the Heart about?

It was Easter in last week's episode of When Calls the Heart. Elizabeth organized an egg hunt and literally fell into Nathan's waiting arms when she was trying to hide an egg. While Kevin McGarry certainly has the "guns" to catch a falling lass, the scene was reminiscent of the time when Faith (Andrea Brooks) fell into Nathan's arms though in her case she wasn't trying to hide an Easter egg! Jeannette Aucoin (Cecilia Deacon), an old flame and business partner of Lucas (Chris McNally), showed up in town in hopes she could convince Lucas to bring her onto the resort project. Her arrival caused many heads to turn and much gossip to be passed around. After learning of the rift between their dad, Joseph (Viv Leacock) and his brother, Jacob, Angela (Vienna Leacock) and Cooper (Elias Leacock) seek to mend some fences by writing a letter to their estranged uncle, but did they do more harm than good?

What is this week's episode of When Calls the Heart about?

In "Stronger Together," this week's episode of When Calls the Heart, Mike (Ben Rosenbaum) and Lee (Kavan Smith) clash with Maisie Hickam (Samantha Ferris), the mayor of Benson Hills (and Mike's older sister). Lucas looks to Henry Gowen (Martin Cummins) for help with the negotiations between the two towns. Reluctant to help, Gowen comes up with a solution with huge implications for the hamlet of Hope Valley. A former student returns while a unexpected letter arrives for someone in town. Elizabeth clears the air with both Lucas and Nathan, but does this mean the Elizabeth-Nathan 'ship is ready to set sail or will it stay in dry dock?
