Tennessee Titans score: Live updates of NFL Week 12 game vs. Carolina Panthers

The Tennessee Titans will try to score their first win in nearly a month against one of the NFL's worst teams when they host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

The Titans (3-7) battle the Panthers (1-9) at Nissan Stadium Sunday (noon, FOX). The game will be a welcome return home for the Titans, who've played three straight road games and five of their past six away from Nashville. Perhaps not coincidentally, the Titans are 0-7 away from Nashville this season and 3-0 at Nissan Stadium.

Both teams will start rookie quarterbacks, with the Titans turning to Will Levis for his fifth start and the Panthers relying on No. 1 pick Bryce Young. Though Levis and Young both played college football in the SEC, Sunday will mark their first matchup against one another.

Tennessee Titans vs. Carolina Panthers: Live NFL football score updates

Fourth quarter

Final: Titans 17, Panthers 10

1:55 left: Bryce Young checks to a quick screen on 4th and 6, if you were wondering how bad and disjointed things are for the Panthers offense. Amani Hooker tackles DJ Chark. Titans will win. Panthers offense is not good, and the Titans never threw a knockout blow, but Tennessee is 4-7.

2:41 left: Denico Autry sack.

3:06 left: Titans will punt after a third down screen is stuffed.

4:11 left: Henry around the right edge for an 18-yard run. Clock moving. Henry up to 73 yards on 17 carries.

6:02 left: Titans defense get off the field after the Panthers move near midfield. Carolina will punt.

8:50 left: Young to Jonathan Mingo for 24 yards.

10:08 left: Titans offense has been sputtering in the second half. Another drive with one first down and then a punt. Not exactly leaning on Derrick Henry, either. He has just 50 rushing yards on 13 carries.

11:42 left: A holding penalty sets the Panthers offense back. And while they are not always getting Bryce Young down for a sack, the Titans pass rush again impacting the rookie quarterback.

13:02 left: Kristian Fulton again flagged in the secondary. All over D.J. Chark.

14:07 left: Levis nearly throws an interception on third down. Titans will punt.

Third quarter

18 seconds left: Levis to Hopkins for 19 yards.

1:03 left: Denico Autry sack. Panthers will punt.

2:54 left: Young to Hubbard for a first down. Carolina down to its fourth-team guard in Nash Jensen.

3:51 left: Jeffery Simmons sack.

5:29 left: Titans will punt after a drive stalls following an opening first down.

Panthers score TD on opening drive of second half

8:06 left: Chuba Hubbard scores on 4th and 2 on a 5-yard touchdown run. Titans secondary extended the drive with two penalties.

Titans 17, Panthers 10

10:10 left: Titans defense ignores Chuba Hubbard, and Young dumps off to him for a 25-yard gain. Panthers in the red zone.

10:52 left: Sean Murphy-Bunting pass interference moves the chains again for Carolina despite the Titans pass rush getting after Young.

12:00 left: Young scrambles for a first down near midfield.

13:27 left: Titans defensive holding negates a Panthers 3-and-out.

Second quarter

Halftime: Titans 17, Panthers 3

Levis finds Westbrook-Ikhine to get into field goal range, then clocks the ball. Nick Folk's 53-yard field goal is good.

The Titans are finding things easier at home against the worst team in the NFL. Carolina could have run the clock out itself with 38 seconds left and 3rd and 2, but Young threw an incomplete pass.

Levis is clearly outplaying Young through one half.

Levis: 13-18, 128 yards

Young: 8-16, 80 yards, 11 rushing yards, lost fumble

1:00 left: Levis lofts a ball to Tyjae Spears down the sideline, and Xavier Woods blasts him. Spears stays down on the field. Flag initially thrown, but picked up. It's 4th down. Levis cannot leave his pass catchers out to dry like that. Woods didn't launch or lower his helmet, and Spears still had to be helped off by Titans personnel. Can't have that.

Derrick Henry's second TD run of the day as Titans cash in on Bryce Young strip sack

2:27 left: Derrick Henry backside cutback, and he wins the race to the end zone.

A 10-yard touchdown run, his second TD of the day. PAT good. Titans cash in on the turnover.

Titans 14, Panthers 3

3:07 left: That has been coming for the Titans defense. Arden Key beats Ickey Ekwonu and strips Bryce Young. Jeffery Simmons recovers in the red zone. Titans can pad this lead.

4:09 left: Panthers have converted two third downs in a row to shift field position.

7:07 left: Titans lose yardage on three straight plays and go three-and-out. Those three plays are in the running for the worst of the season for the Tennessee offense.

Ryan Stonehouse's punt rolls to the Carolina 4-yard line. A 71-yard punt.

Titans defense holds Panthers to FG

8:51 left: Eddy Pineiro's 50-yard field goal attempt is good. A 14-play drive ends in three points allowed for the Titans defense, who is starting to pressure Bryce Young consistently. Key play was an Ian Thomas holding penalty for Carolina on first down after the Sullivan completion.

Titans 7, Panthers 3

10:04 left: Young to Stephen Sullivan for a fourth down conversion, but Mike Vrabel throws the challenge flag. Looks to be incomplete.

After review, call stands. Completed pass and the Panthers are inside the Titans' 25-yard line. Sullivan's left hand may have stayed under the ball. Close.

12:23 left: Young runs away from Simmons and Autry to scramble for a first down into Titans territory.

13:34 left: Titans pass rush hurries Young into a throwaway on third down, but Kristian Fulton is called for a penalty while covering Tommy Tremble. Panthers move the sticks.

First quarter

Titans on the board with 15-play drive, Derrick Henry TD

34 seconds left: Touchdown Titans, and it's a 2-yard Derrick Henry touchdown carry. Henry ran through a couple Panthers DBs.

PAT good. 15-play, 91 yard drive. Levis was 7-for-7.

Titans 7, Panthers 0

1:49 left: Levis is buried by Burns, but he is just able to loft a pass to a wide open Chig Okonkwo for a big gain. 1st and goal, Titans. 25 yard gain. Tennessee pretty fortunate to not have a holding penalty trying to block Burns, who hit Levis anyway.

3:26 left: Two nice completions for Levis, to Chris Moore and to Josh Whyle. Titans are driving in Panthers territory.

6:20 left: After Dillon Radunz gives up a sack to Brian Burns and has a false start, Levis finds Hopkins for 11 on 3rd and 12. Titans are going on 4th and 1, and Derrick Henry picks up the first down.

Henry has now surpassed 9,000 career rushing yards, one of eight running backs all time to do it in his first eight NFL seasons.

11:04 left: Young passes backwards to Miles Sanders, but the Panthers do not block Denico Autry playside on a 3rd and 1 play. Interesting play design. Panthers will punt.

13:01 left: Bryce Young's first pass is a 22-yard completion to Jonathan Mingo.

13:14 left: After a DeAndre Hopkins catch to move the chains, the Titans offense breaks down. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine drops a ball, Derrick Henry gains about a yard and Derrick Brown bats down Will Levis' third down pass after pressuring the Titans QB. Ryan Stonehouse's punt lands in Mt. Juliet for a touchback.

15:00 left: Titans will receive the opening kickoff.
