Tennessee Titans key NFL offseason dates: When squad reports for OTAs, minicamp

The Tennessee Titans' first practice sessions of the Brian Callahan era are just around the corner.

The NFL has announced dates for when each team will conduct offseason activities for 2024, including the Titans. The Titans will first be able to report for voluntary workouts on April 8. Voluntary minicamp will be held from April 22-24. OTAs will be held over the course of 10 days between May 20 and June 13, with mandatory minicamp coming in the middle from June 4-6.

The first phase of offseason activities beginning on April 8 is limited exclusively to meetings, rehab and strength and conditioning training with no on-field work. On-field work can begin in the second and third phases of offseason activity, but live contact is not allowed during offseason team practice activities (OTAs).

Since the Titans have a first-year head coach, they're allowed to meet for voluntary veteran minicamp, so long as that minicamp is before the beginning of the NFL draft. The April 22-24 window fits that parameter, with the draft beginning one day later on April 25.

The Titans hired Callahan in January, replacing coach Mike Vrabel after back-to-back losing seasons. Some new players who will be eligible to participate in these offseason activities include free agent acquisitions like receiver Calvin Ridley, cornerback Chidobe Awuzie, center Lloyd Cushenberry and running back Tony Pollard.
