Tennessee baseball live score updates vs Florida: Vols vs Gators in SEC series

Tennessee baseball is in May, the month coach Tony Vitello always talks about.

The No. 3 Vols (37-8, 15-6 SEC) play their first series of the crucial month against Florida (23-21, 9-12). Thursday's opener against the Gators at Condron Family Ballpark in Gainesville, Florida, was postponed.

The two teams will now play a doubleheader starting Friday at 3 p.m. (SEC Network+). The second nine-inning game will begin 45 minutes following the completion of the opener. The series finale is Saturday.

Tennessee swept Florida in its most recent series in Gainesville in 2022. It marked UT's first sweep at Florida since 2001.

Tennessee plays at Vanderbilt and hosts South Carolina to close the regular season before the SEC Tournament.
