Tennessee baseball live score updates vs LSU in SEC Tournament championship game
HOOVER, Ala. − Tennessee baseball is playing for an SEC Tournament title Sunday.
The No. 1 Vols (49-11) face No. 11 seed LSU (40-20) at Hoover Met. UT won the SEC Tournament in 2022 for the first time since 1995. It also played in the title game in 2021. The Vols could sweep the SEC titles with a win Sunday, pairing the conference tournament with a share of the regular-season title.
The Vols swept the Tigers in a regular-season series in April at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. LSU has gone 4-0 through the tournament to reach the title game. Tennessee dropped its opener before winning three straight.
With a win, Tennessee will reach the 50-win mark for the third time in the past four seasons. The Vols won 50 games in program history twice before coach Tony Vitello was hired in 2017.
