Tennessee baseball live score updates vs Vanderbilt in SEC Tournament semifinal
HOOVER, Ala. − Tennessee baseball and Vanderbilt are playing for the fifth time in May.
The No. 1 seed Vols (48-11) face the No. 8 Commodores (39-20) in the SEC Tournament semifinals Saturday.
UT has lost two straight games to Vanderbilt, including its SEC Tournament opener. The Vols lost 13-14 on Wednesday at Hoover Met before beating Texas A&M 7-4 on Thursday and Mississippi State 6-5 on Friday to reach the semifinals.
Tennessee won a series against Vanderbilt in early May, winning the first two games with come-from-behind homers. UT was three-hit in the finale as the Commodores thwarted the sweep in the Sunday game. The Vols had won nine straight games against Vanderbilt prior to that defeat, which is the third-longest win streak in UT history against the Commodores.
