A 17-year-old girl was killed in central Florida when she stepped on a downed power line that had also set her car on fire.

When the girl stopped, the car started burning and she tried to escape on foot. That’s when the unidentified victim reportedly stepped on the power line.

A weekend of foul weather pounded the Sunshine State, where wind damage was so severe in Panama City Beach, that city officials suspect a tornado may have passed through. The roof of a Pensacola brewery was also ripped off by strong winds that may have been a funnel cloud, though the National Weather Service has not weighed in on that possibility. Wind speeds reportedly reached 60 mph.

The strong winds that swept through large parts of Florida were in some cases accompanied by hail, heavy rain and lightning.
