Ted Lasso's Hannah Waddingham Delights with a Performance at 2024 BAFTAs

Hannah Waddingham attends the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2024 at The Royal Festival Hall on Feb. 18, 2024, in London, England.

Hannah Waddingham once again showed off her singing chops—and she did so in stunning fashion.

The Ted Lasso star, who appeared at the ceremony in a gorgeous glittering navy lace gown with floral appliqués, gave a heartfelt and moving tribute at the 2024 BAFTA Awards, which took place at the Royal Festival Hall in London, England, on Sunday, Feb. 18.

Singing Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time," arranged by British singer and pianist Joe Stilgoe, who performed alongside her, Waddingham, 49, tugged on audience members' heartstrings as she took the stage for the In Memoriam section—"a fitting tribute we hope to the truly great actors who we lost last year," Stilgoe wrote on Instagram.

She changed into a black dress for the performance, which featured pictures of Michael GambonCarl Weathers, and more of the late greats that were lost over the last year.

Viewers were left completely in awe of the London-born actress, who has proven herself time and time again as having an angelic voice that her fans are always dying to hear.

On X (formerly Twitter) user declared, "omg hannah waddingham, you and that beautiful voice of yours has me absolutely sobbing #EEBAFTAs."

Another person tweeted, "Life’s a little better whenever Hannah Waddingham appears on TV to sing."

Yet another X user wrote, "an actual picture of me after listening to hannah waddingham singing time after time at the Baftas," alongside a sobbing GIF.

The Game of Thrones alum also showed off her musical skills with her Apple TV+ Christmas extravaganza, Home for Christmas, in 2023, and she graced fans' ears with her stunning voice on multiple other occasions.

Among them was the 2022 BRIT Awards, when her co-star Brett Goldstein couldn't help but beg her to sing a little something, to which she eventually obliged and sang out a gorgeous note that had fans spiraling with amazement.

"Me 🤝  Brett Goldstein Begging Hannah Waddingham to sing at any given moment," one fan gushed in a post shared to X.

Even after Waddingham was announced as one of the performers for this year's BAFTAs, her fans immediately knew it was going to be a moment to remember.

"i'm gonna lose my cool," one X user posted in response to the announcement about Waddingham's performance.

The evening's other musical presentations include a performance from Sophie Ellis-Bextor, singing her iconic hit Murder on the Dance Floor, which was featured in the nominated film Saltburn.
