The Ted Lasso family just got a little bigger, as show star Brendan Hunt welcomed his second child on Friday, March 1, three days earlier than expected.

Hunt and his fiancée, Shannon Nelson, shared the exciting news on Instagram, with the actor posting photos of the little one meeting various family members as he wrote, "We were supposed to go to @cedarssinai today to have a baby. Instead, we got home today, because our fourth family member felt like rolling up three days early."

Introducing Archibald Felix Nelson Hunt to the world—noting that he will likely go by Archie—the 51-year-old actor continued, "He’s in perfect health, and his weary hero of a mother @snoopshann is recovering peacefully. He looks just like his brother; not sure about hair color yet tho." The couple's first son Sean, who was born in January 2021, has naturally red hair.

"He’s beautiful and perfect and we are in love," Hunt went on, declaring that the family was "now a Fabulous Foursome and ready to rock forever."

Fans and friends piled on the congratulations and well wishes, with Sarah Drew of Grey's Anatomy saying, "Oh yay!! Congrats! Welcome to the world Archie!!"

Nelson also shared the news on her account, posting photos with the sweet message, "Your mom and dad, big brother Seanie and Lucy 😻 are so completely in love and so lucky you decided to join us so our family hugs will only be stronger. I love you my sweet baby."

Many fans are familiar with Hunt for his role as Coach Beard on the popular comedy series Ted Lasso, the assistant coach for AFC Richmond and the best friend of Jason Sudeikis' Ted Lasso. He also co-created the show.

Ted Lasso ran for three seasons from 2020 to 2023, taking home many awards and accolades throughout its run.
