Eddie Van Halen with Wolfgang Van Halen

Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertinelli's son Wolfgang Van Halen got married over the weekend to his longtime partner Andraia Allsop. During the ceremony, the Mammoth WVH frontman and his bride made sure to honor the late Van Halen frontman with various heartwarming gestures.

Wolfgang told People that he walked down the aisle with mom Bertinelli to a song that his father wrote for him. "It's an instrumental piece called 316. It'll be a nice way to include my dad," he said.

Allsop also shared with the outlet how she included Eddie in the ceremony. "One of the things that I really wanted was a way to bring Wolf's dad into it," she said. "We'll be having an empty chair that would've been his at the ceremony."

She added that she handmade "little memory charms with a picture of Wolfie and his dad on it" as a surprise for the wedding party so that everyone was able to "think of him throughout the day."

Bertinelli couldn't be happier that her son has found the love of his life and knows Eddie would be, too. "Ed would've been absolutely beaming and so, so proud of the man Wolfie has become and is becoming and so happy that he has found Andraia, someone who really understands Wolfie, who he is and who he wants to be and supports him wholeheartedly," she told People.

Wolfgang and Allsop married on Sunday, Oct. 15, which marked the eight-year anniversary of their first date. The nuptials were held at the couple's home in an intimate ceremony. The wedding date was nine days after the three-year anniversary of Eddie's passing. The iconic musician died on Oct. 6, 2020, after suffering a long battle with throat cancer.
