Team USA's Golden Era Is Loading: Gabby Thomas, Suni Lee, and More on Taylor Swift's Eras Tour
Taylor Swift's Eras Tour arrives in Paris tonight, just a few months before Team USA Olympians and Paralympians are set to travel to the City of Light to compete for gold.
"The Eras Tour is actually happening right where the pool [will be]," Paralympic swimmer Jamal Hill tells T&C, admitting that he is a Swiftie, but not a fervent one. "I appreciate greatness, so it’s great that Taylor will get to perform in a place where I’ll be performing greatness," he added.
Swift is headline shows at Paris's La Défense Arena for four nights (May 9, 10, 11, and 12), and later summer, the Arena will host the Olympic swimming competitions (from July 27 to August 4) and the water polo events (August 5 to 11). After, La Défense Arena will also serve as the venue for Paralympic swimming events from August 29 to September 8.
At Team USA’s media summit in New York City last month, Town & Country asked Olympic and Paralympic athletes and hopefuls which era they're in right now.

Gabby Thomas, Track & Field: "I'm in my dream girl era!"
Kate Douglas, Swimming: "I don’t know what era I’m currently in, but I always like to be in Reputation, oozing confidence and having fun."
Crystal Dunn, Soccer: "I'm in the era of just like taking care of business. I think last year's era was definitely an era of boundaries. I learned about not really just saying 'yes' to everything. I think this year is about just focusing on all the goals that I wanna set for myself. So this is the year of business."
Courtney Ryan, Wheelchair Basketball: "I’m in the folklore era: I feel composed, confident, and chill."
Sunisa Lee, Gymnastics: "My glowing era!"
Ezra Frech, Para Track & Field: "I’m in my golden era right now. I’m feeling good energy. I’ve been manifesting this for a while. I'm at calm, peace, mindset. I look forward to embracing this golden era, winning a few gold medals this summer, and being there with my family and friends!"
Rose Lavelle, Soccer: "I love Speak Now and Fearless."
Evita Griskenas, Rhythmic Gymnastics: "I'm in my conquer era."
