TCU football solidifies recruiting class with three-star cornerback out of Dickinson

TCU

TCU football continues to add to its top 25 recruiting class, picking up a third commitment in less than a week.

Dickinson cornerback Vernon Glover Jr. announced Sunday afternoon on Twitter that he was committing to the Horned Frogs. Glover was on campus this past week for RiffRam day with a number of other commitments and recruits.

Glover is rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 71 corner nationally in the 247Sports composite rankings. Listed at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds, Glover also considered Houston, Colorado and Texas A&M. Glover was a District 24-6A first-team selection as a junior.

He’s the 18th commitment for Sonny Dykes and the staff and kept TCU in the Top 25 recruiting rankings.

In other recruiting news, Maxwell Carroll (Memphis) picked up a crystal ball prediction for TCU from HornedFrogBlitz recruiting insider Jeremy Clark over the weekend. Carroll told the Star-Telegram he has TCU as a finalist with Vanderbilt.
