Taylor Swift's home state of Pennsylvania is letting her know they're still her No. 1 fan.

The "Cruel Summer" songstress has had a major year, with the success of her Eras Tour, the release of her concert film, her numerous Grammy nominations, and being named TIME Person of the Year, among other things, and now, her stomping grounds are celebrating her for it.

Pennsylvania officials recently declared 2023 as the "Taylor Swift era" in the state, with lawmakers approving the resolution in a 103-100 vote on Wednesday, Dec. 13—Swift's 34th birthday. It was initially introduced by Representatives Danielle Friel Otten, Jennifer O'Mara, Johanny Cepeda-Freytiz, Robert Freeman, Benjamin V. Sanchez, Arvind Venkat, Jose Giral and Maureen E. Madden.

According to Associated Press, the resolution noted that Swift has "transcended the role of pop star," recognizing her accomplishments in the past year. It also said she “shines as a role model of courage, self acceptance and self-determination, persisting in the face of personal and professional obstacles and challenges.”

Democratic Rep. Maureen Madden of Monroe County was a huge supporter of the measure, showing appreciation for the singer's influence on younger generations.

“I turn 64 years old today, and I think about who’s going to carry on our legacy. She’s not popular because she writes break-up songs,” Madden said on the House floor, per the outlet. “She’s popular because the largest demographic of people eligible to vote, the 18- to 24-year-old demographic, listens to her and does what she says.”

Earlier this year, it was reported that the "Lavender Haze" singer used her power for good, encouraging her 272 million Instagram followers to vote by sharing a link to nonpartisan nonprofit Vote.org's website on her Stories.

"I've been so lucky to see so many of you guys at my U.S. shows recently. I've heard you raise your voices, and I know how powerful they are," she wrote at the time, along with the inclusion of the direct link. "Make sure you're ready to use them in our elections this year!"

Following the invitation, the website recorded over 35k new registrations, according to the organization—a testament to Swift's impact being referenced.
