Is Taylor Swift More Prolific Than Tyler Perry? Was Survivor Tribal One for the Books? John Wick Cameo on FBI? Did SVU Trial Satisfy? More TV Qs!

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about lotsa shows including Law & Order: SVU, FBI, Survivor and Alice & Jack!

| Should Saturday Night Live have cut one of its post-Weekend Update sketches — or perhaps Michael Longfellow’s Update piece — to get Papyrus 2 on air?

| So… did Alice & Jack just not have the budget to go to/even fake Cuba? Why tease that trip just to have them instead spend a staycation walking around their own city, having sad thoughts? And for a show that has spanned the better part of 15 years, does anyone but Celia look at all different?

| Knowing that the Masters tournament could easily run late, why didn’t CBS slot in a Tracker rerun that it could join “in progress,” and thus avoid having to cut the Billy Joel concert short (and the public shaming that came with it)?

| Did CBS’ casting department look specifically to The Conners this week for guest stars — what with Darien Sills-Evans (who recurred in Seasons 3 and 4 as Becky’s friend-with-benefits Mikey) showing up on Tracker as a police officer Sunday, and Maya Lynne Robinson (who co-starred as D.J.’s wife Geena) showing up on The Neighborhood as a birthing class instructor, just 24 hours later?

| On The Neighborhood, did Dave’s mispronunciation of ukulele (“UH-koo-lay-lay”) give anyone else Schmidt from New Girl vibes?

| On Bob Hearts Abishola, are we to believe Goodwin has saved enough money to buy MaxDot? Even for half the price the Japanese were willing to offer Bob, and paid out over seven years?

| Whose butt can Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant kick for leaving off the “C” in her job title during her NCIS cameo? (Speaking of Jane, did anyone else yelp aloud at home when on NCIS: Hawai’i she got walloped by that Ewok-like, tree trunk booby trap? She’s been through it!)

| Should TVLine’s Year in Review add a Best Grunting category, if only to give Shōgun’s Yabushige an easy win? Also, was Fuji’s iconic tea-sipping meme her “parting shot,” or might we see her in the finale?

| During FBI’s armored car heist, did you recognize the “John Wick hotel” location? Also, couldn’t Scola have wound up dead for not scouting out where the water glasses were kept in his fake townhome?

| Even with her mind clouded by grief, surely The Cleaning Lady’s Nadia would never really be so foolish as to burn a piece of evidence right there in her office, when any one of her adversaries could burst in at any moment, right?

| Is FBI: International‘s Tate (played by Christina Wolfe) giving “Kaley Cuoco meets Elizabeth Gillies”? And how great was it to see Raines go all John McClane, so soon after his injury?

| After inviting the entire cast of Young Sheldon to appear as guests, did the producers of The Jennifer Hudson Show seriously not prepare a single question for Lance Barber (aka George Sr.)?

| First Monarch: Legacy of Monsters gets multiple spinoffs, now For All Mankind gets one… which Apple TV+ series is up next for an offshoot?

| On Survivor, the second Tiffany started talking smack about Venus, did you think she would be the one going home? And where does Wednesday’s Tribal fall in the pantheon of absolutely bats–t Tribal Councils?

| Of all the continuity errors on The Conners, is Dan’s birthday — which in Roseanne Season 1 took place in January… then in The Conners Season 2 took place in December… then this week took place in April — the most obvious?

| On Star Trek: Discovery, how poetic was it that Burnham stopped her past self using the Vulcan pinch?

| If the Young Sheldon spinoff does, in fact, center on Georgie and Mandy living with Jim and Audrey, do you think they’ll use the same McAllister house set as seen in Thursday’s quasi-backdoor pilot? Or do you expect that they’ll rebuild the set for multi-cam, as they did the Cooper household for Young Sheldon (after a different house was shown in episodes of Big Bang Theory)?

| Ghosts fans, where do you think Carol has been hanging out during these past couple of episodes?

| Were you as gobsmacked as Farmer Wants a Wife‘s Brandon that Joy turned down a hometown date and peaced out?

| SVU viewers: Were you satisfied with how Maddie’s trial — a major thread for the first part of this season — played out?

| On Law & Order: Organized Crime, as much as we appreciated Jet’s insistence that she go with Bell to deliver the bad news to Sam’s wife, shouldn’t she have done… something other than stare while the pregnant woman wept and Ayanna comforted her?

| Did Elsbeth overdo it with its Gen Z ball girl “cooking” with alllllll the slang in every single sentence, “bruh”? And wouldn’t Blair Underwood’s character have conveyed more shock, at least privately, having not set out to KILL his son’s rival?

| Who has greater output: Tyler Perry (who saw eight of his ongoing series renewed this week at BET with another one on the way, on the heels of producing 700 episodes of TV over the past five years) or Taylor Swift (who on Friday surprised folks with a double album of 31 songs, with The Tortured Poets Department marking her ninth release — including “Taylor’s Version” re-recordings — since 2019)?
