Billboard Music Awards 2023: Complete List of Winners

Taylor Swift

The 2023 Billboard Music Awards honored the biggest-selling artists of the year, and unsurprisingly (in part because her fans buy multiple copies of everything), Taylor Swift entered the night with 20 nominations, the most of any artist this year.

When the last award had been handed out, the "Anti-Hero" singer had collected 10 wins, thanks to her late 2022 release Midnights and her 2023 re-recording of Speak Now (Taylor's Version). She has more Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) than any other female artist and is now tied with Drake as the winningest artist of all time at the BBMAs. They each have a whopping 39 awards. Drake also holds the record for most Billboard Music Awards won in a single night with 13.

But the night belonged to Morgan Wallen who was up for 17 awards and collected 11. Wallen also won both top Billboard 200 album (One Thing at a Time) and top Hot 100 song (“Last Night”)—in a feat the show hadn't seen since Usher's 2004 wins with Confessions and “Yeah!” (featuring Lil Jon & Ludacris).

Who are the 2023 Billboard Music Awards performers?

In a history-making performance perfectly timed to the holiday season, Queen of Christmas Mariah Carey performed a festive Aspen-inspired version of “All I Want For Christmas Is You” at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards. This was the first time the Christmas classic had ever been performed on an awards show.

Other performers included David Guetta, Bebe Rexha, Karol G, NewJeans, Morgan Wallen, Peso Pluma and Stray Kids.
