Taylor Swift Fans Are Losing It After She Swallowed A Bug On Stage
Taylor Swift wrapped up the Chicago leg of her Eras Tour last night, but instead of bidding farewell to the Windy City with, say, a stop at Portillo's or slice from Lou Malnati's, she ate...a bug for dinner?
While chatting with the crowd—just moments before she was *supposed* to launch into "Torment It"—Swift got a surprise snack.
"I just swallowed a bug, I 'm so sorry," she said, while trying to cough up the insect. "It's just so stupid. Delicious. Oh, god. Is there any chance none of you saw that?"

Swift laughed off the incident, telling the crowd, "This is gonna happen again tonight. There's so many bugs. There's one thousand of them."
I mean, hey, it is a good protein source.
Naturally, fans are losing it over the gross moment. "I wish I was the bug that Taylor Swift swallowed last night," one user posted on Twitter. Another chimed in, "Taylor Swift swallowed a bug so I will do the same so the queen doesn't feel ashamed."
Some are just jealous the bug actually got to attend the show at all: "Can you believe A BUG went to the Eras Tour AND met Taylor Swift and I DIDN'T????"

Swift performed back-t0-back-to-back shows this weekend at Chicago's Soldier Field, and while Bug-Gate was certainly a moment to remember, it was hardly the only notable thing that went down over her three-day stint. In fact, she brought out country star Maren Morris for the first-ever live performance of the pair's song "You All Over Me."
ICYMI, Swift pulled the track "from the vault" and tapped Morris to record it with her back in 2021.
"So for these songs, when I was doing Fearless as a re-record, I thought it would be so cool to have one of my favorite artists sing on one of the songs that was from the vault," Swift told the crowd Saturday night. “And we are so lucky Chicago, so incredibly lucky, because not only did that artist say yes, Maren Morris is actually here!”
