As Taylor Swift Attends 4th Chiefs Game, CBS Runs Travis Kelce’s Stats With Singer in Stands — Watch Video

Is CBS a full-fledged Swiftie?

The network got creative with their Taylor Swift coverage on Sunday as the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Los Angeles Chargers. After Travis Kelce scored a touchdown, putting the Chiefs up 24 to 17, CBS compared his statistics on-screen “with Taylor Swift in attendance” versus when he’s been “left to his own devices.” And, for the record, his performance excels with the pop star in the stands, logging 99 receiving yards per game. Last year, Kelce led the league in that category, averaging 78.7 yards per game.

CBS is simply leaning into the online frenzy that has followed Swift since she first attended a Chiefs game in late Septemberseemingly confirming rumors that she is romantically linked to Kelce.

But not all NFL viewers are Swifties. One fan tagged CBS in a post on X (fka Twitter), writing, “@CBS just put a stat on the Chiefs game that showed Travis Kelce’s stats with and without Taylor Swift at the game. That s–t is soooooo wack. F–k off with this Travis/Taylor nonsense.”

Another viewer tagged Good Morning Football host Kyle Brandt in a post on X and wrote, “Taylor Swift is ruining football. CBS just put up a box showing Kelce’s stats w/ and w/out TS in attendance. The world has officially gone crazy. Can you tell the NFL they’re annoying the majority of their fan base? Please.”

But die-hard Swifties seem to be celebrating the pop icon’s continued NFL presence. “The stats ‘With Taylor,’ ‘left to his own devices.’ This is such a gift,” one fan wrote on X.

“Whoever made this graphic is a true Swiftie and they should be so proud,” another viewer wrote on X.
