Target sets opening date for new Old Bridge store

The new Target at the Glenwood Green shopping center on the corner of Route 9 and Schulmeister Road will open April 14, the store announced.

Glenwood Green will be anchored by the 134,280-square-foot Target and an 80,475-square-foot ShopRite which opened March 17.

Other businesses coming to the site are Duck Donuts, Paris Baguette, Shake Shack, honeygrow, Chipotle, Panda Express and Wawa.

Target, which has 51 locations in New Jersey, recently announced it will open its first store in Hunterdon County at the Flemington Marketplace in Raritan Township.

The nearest Targets these are in Bridgewater, Phillipsburg and Watchung.
